Shaun Storry won the biggest title of his career to date when he secured Event 5 on the 2021 Ultimate Pool Professional Series.
On his way to pocketing the £10,000 top prize in front of the live television cameras, Storry ended the 14-match winning streak of Shane Thompson in round one before eliminating Brian Halcrow, Rob Wharne, Dejan Grech and then former world champion Carl Morris 9-2 in the final.
Storry became the first player on the Series to reach consecutive ‘big money’ finals in Event 7, although his bid for back-to-back titles was thwarted by Gareth Potts.
A memorable campaign which also saw him make the semi-finals of Event 6, Storry finished the 2021 season as the number two ranked professional.
On his Ultimate Pool debut Storry won a group during phase one of the Champions League and alongside close friend Chris Day, he triumphed in Group 14 of the Eative Pairs Cup - the dup eventually finished joint ninth overall. Storry also made the latter stages of the 2022 Professional Grand Slam, reaching the semi-finals.
